Featured Store : Ambajam

Hip, Cute and trendy onesies, toddler tees, blankets, quilts and more are what you’ll find at Ambajam. Such a very unique name, isn’t it? I don’t exactly know what it means. I searched the store site for the definition but couldn’t find any.

I did find their whole collection adorable and just oh so cuddly. You should see their blankets. It brought me back to my very cozy childhood. They looked so comfy, I wanted to wrap myself in one. Except they’re meant for kids, hehe.

    Hi there,

    I’m the founder and designer of Ambajam and just came across your post about Ambajam. So glad you liked the look of the line…and trust me, the blankets are super cuddly! I saw that you were wondering where our name came from…it was a nickname my sister-in-law had for my niece, Emma, (now 5 1/2 years old) when she was a baby. The name just sort of stuck with me as I liked the lyrical, playful sound of it. When I went to select a name for my new company I kept coming back to Ambajam. Turns out that when I wrote the name out it was comprised of my initials (AM), the beginning of my mum’s name (BA) and my dad’s initials (JAM)…Ambajam truly is a family affair! Hope that answers your question. :-)

    Hi Ali, thank you so much for telling me about the name’s history. That sounds fantastic. Interestingly enough, my daughter’s name is also Emma. I really love your store. I can’t get over those blankets, hehe.
