I think hannah montana sandals would be fine and cute for litte girls, but hannah montana platforms for children???
Any mother who would put high heels on her little girl is either ignorant or willingly exposing her to sexy styles too early.
There is a reason why high heel shoes were for GROWN-UPS not children since time began, because high heels (let’s face it are sexy…and) not for children. They use to sell to kits with make believe high heels for little girls to prtened to be mommy all dressed up…at home!!!
Why would you want to put high heels on your child to where outside…for teenage boys to look after them??? Aren’t children exposed to enough sexuality on tv? There are to many sick-os out there for me to put heels on my daughter. I am not a prude, but I want my child to look like a child while she is, not a teenager!

APPALLED, there’s a difference between 3 inches stilettos heels and platform sandals. I’d take this over “JUICY” logo on a back of a track suit any day.

Sorry about all the typos…I feel very strongly about this. I was just back from a store where I saw a little girl wearing mini versions of Candies…when I saw this blog.
Everyone at the store was staring after this child…and shaking their heads…with a look on their faces like what is wrong with that mother???
Platforms or heels… they are still not appropriate for children. We are not talking about a comfortable shoe with a little wedge supporting the heel.
Woman have crippled themselves since time immemorial for the sake of fashion…even though heels and pumps squeeze our toes and thrust our hips into un-natural positions…
“Walking on high heels puts excessive stress on the front and back of the knee which could eventually lead to osteoarthritis (Kerrigan, Todd, and Riley 1998).”
What are we doing to our little girls while their skeletons are developing? What are we teaching our little girls about who they are, that they need to have a lifetime fetish with high heeled shoes (whether platforms or resin) starting in childhood?
What male designer decided to put “candies” style shoes for little little girls on the market? Someone who knew their shoe obsessed mothers would be ignorant enough to buy them!
To tell you the truth I’d rather put a great pair of sport shoes on my daughter and tell her she is strong enough to be healthy. As far as non sports shoes are concerned, pretty sandals with a little girl friendly heel would be fine too!
